About this extension
Alquerque - Classic Board Game brings the ancient ancestor of checkers and draughts (also known as Qirkat) to Chrome. Open the toolbar popup, face a built-in bot, and climb 300 difficulty levels without leaving your browser.
The board is a 5x5 point lattice with 12 pieces per side (cream vs navy) and an empty centre. Moves follow classic Alquerque lines - not every diagonal is open - with mandatory captures and majority capture. Clear move highlights, soft motion, undo, and a rules panel sit in a quiet parchment UI. Progress saves when you close the popup. Current build focuses on Play vs AI; Online, Private, and Profile are marked coming soon.
